There are occasions in our lives that are really, really special and call for a celebration. A new baby, a first time Mommy and Daddy, now that merits throwing a party. Not just any party, it has to say, "We love you", "We are so happy for you" and "We want to bless you". Here is an attempt to do just that. Sit back and enjoy!
It started out with a sweet little invitation. The stamp and die is "Hanging Out" from Papertry Ink. I just love the fact that it uses a paper sack. The card sets the stage for our theme and color scheme.
We served a brunch and had little tables set up for the ladies to sit. Each table had a small centerpiece using old sugar bowls. The little clothes line was just way too cute.
The flowers were made from (used) drier sheets which I tea stained. Here is a connection to a great tutorial that shows how to make them

Of course we needed some fresh flower too! The hydrangea's were tinted pink and placed in a fruit jar wrapped with a piece of old lace and jute.
The clothes line was not only decoration but also provided entertainment. We played a game in which the clothesline was taken down and the guests had to guess what was on it. After the fun, all the goodies went to the Mommy-to-Be.
The tissue balls and fans hung above the window and just added to the festivities.
Thank heaven for little girls!!! The pink napkins and doilies were wrapped around the silverware.
These were the toppers for the cupcake quiches. Each one was hand made and so very sweet. The stamp and die is "Itty Bitty Banners", from Stampin' Up. "Sweet Baby" indeed!
Before leaving each guest filled out the "Wishes for Baby". The wishes were so heartfelt, it just melted your heart to read them. The "Wishes for Baby" was from Phyllis Hoffman's "Celebration" Jan/Feb.
Each guest received a cookie bag favor. A way of saying Thank you for coming and blessing the Mommy-to-Be with so many wonderful presents and warm wishes.
The cookie was a little onsie with a pink heart! This new baby girl will truely be blessed, surrounded by so many people who love her and are waiting with open arms to meet her.
Thanks for stopping by, it was so fun to share this with you. I hope you are inspired to celebrate your next special occasion with creativity and love.
Blessings,
Bev
